Who rehearses a five-page script?
We do! The cast rehearsed the day before, working both on and off location, which made the shooting go faster and may have saved someone from being overtly tackled!

John Vargas checked out the location with me a couple weeks before the shoot.
John Colella has stage combat training and set up the tackle sequence in his gym with Antonio Moon and John Vargas. He got tackled a lot!
